Karl Friedrich Gauss (1777-1855)
Gauss was an extraordinary man, he was known for his outstanding works in math. He was known to the public as one of the world's greatest mathematicians. He developed and mastered many different forms of math.
Karl Friedrich, Gauss was born and raise in Brunswick Germany. He was born to George and Dorothy Dietrich on April 30,1977. When gauss was a child his parents were poor they lived in a small house in Wendengrahen. Gauss at a young age learned to read and do math on his own. He would count numbers from a calendar, and he would ask his friend to read him letters.
At the age of seven gauss attend school. His classmates were older than he, although they were older he was smarter. He was able to add all the numbers from one to a hundred. Gauss, first year in school was highly recognize by his teachers, who later on introduce him to the duke of Brunswick. However, gauss math skills were so outstanding that the duke's offered him a grant to peruse his math studies.
When gauss was fourteen in 1792, he went to collegiums carulinum high school. During his time in collegium's high school he developed several mathematical theories. He also discovered the Bode's law. Gauss went on to attend the university of Gottingen. Gauss was contemplating on what to study, he was stuck between philology and mathematics. He left school without getting his degree. However, in 1799 he went to study at the university of Helmstedt, where he obtained his doctorate.
When gauss was 24years old, he had written the disquisitiones arithmeticae. This was when he pattern the concepts of number theory dealing with integers of properties and relationship. When his book was published he had gotten recognize by many different mathematicians.
