Evil is a subject that many tend to shy away from due to the unfriendly relations associated with it. In the play Medea had done certain actions that can be considered controversial within the walls of evil. Even though Medea had done certain actions in the story that can be categorised under being wrongful, Medea was the victim of a man's attitude towards women due to the fact that she had many feelings going on that greatly affected her actions that could not be organized under her control.
Medea's actions during the play occurred through her judgment that had been impaired through all of the emotional events that had been going on that Jason had created making her the victim of his actions. Her feelings were out of her control thus leading to her actions being out of her control as well. Medea had become very saturnine person through the heartbreak that Jason had struck on her. Jason never thought about Medea as anything other than an easily usable object. Because Jason had these sort of feelings towards Medea, she grew even more vengeful and hurt so with these strong emotions that could not be controlled thus clouding her judgement. Equally as important, Medea’s benign nature augments the understanding of Medea’s actions. Medea came from a background of very powerful women that use their special powers for bad.
