Are computer systems on the verge of taking over daily task often delegated to CEOs? According to Inc. Magazine, there is new software emerging that will take the business world to another level. Computer systems in today’s world, allows us to access and manipulate large amounts of data, however, computers are unable to truly understand the data they are working with. Meaning, the computer understands only the terms you specify. With iSpheres on the frontline, that formula is about to change.
In a few years this new software known as “complex event processing” systems, will be able to analyze a lot more information that you can and react quickly to a greater number of complex situations. For example, iSphere systems, can respond to problems by sending an e-mail or cell phone alert to the right employee, just like CEOs are likely do, it can dash off a note to a customer, submit a restocking order, or redirect a shipment.
These systems are able to perform the sort of knowledge-gathering, analysis, and decision making chores that would take all day to do.
Computers are expected to take over a portion of what CEOs do and it will change what human entrepreneurs and managers need to bring to the table.
Summary: The introduction of new technologies presented in this class has sparked my interest as to what else is out there. I found this article interesting because it allows me and other future entrepreneurs or managers to be aware of what is to come of the business world in the next few years Furthermore, when we talk about businesses expanding globally, I would say this is a one of a kind business solution.
