MEMORIES FOR TOMORROW
"Welcome to your new home, brother" said Cleveland as he and Eleanor walked into the House of Names.
"It feels good to finally be home" The two brothers talked for hours, discussing everything possible. Finally, they had run out of things to say.
"Maybe we should hit the hay. We've got a big day ahead of us. Don't forget to come home early, I've got a surprise for you. Goodnight Eleanor."
"Okay, goodnight Cleveland," Eleanor replied as he quickly jumped into this bed. Secretly, he was very excited about the surprise he was going to get. He fell asleep with the thought of Cleveland confessing his love for him.
The next evening when Eleanor came home, he found the dining room filled with lit candles. He felt like his dreams were coming true.
"Eleanor," Cleveland said as he appeared in the door way. Eleanor's heart beat went faster. "I haven't been completely honest with you this whole time. There's something I need to tell you." This was it, this was the beginning of the new relationship of the Goatflap brothers. Eleanor's heart beat went even faster.
"What is it?" Eleanor asked, trying to look casual about it. Suddenly a girl appeared next to Cleveland.
"This is Sadie, my girlfriend," said Cleveland with a big smile across his face. Eleanor's jaw dropped with shock.
"But I love you! I thought you were going to confess your love to me!" Eleanor said as he burst into tears. Before Cleveland or Sadie could say anything, Eleanor jumped out of the window and ran off. Cleveland decided to go after him, but Sadie suggested to give him some time to cool off.
An hour had passed, so Cleveland went out to look for his one and only brother. He searched the whole town, the park, shopping centre, even their parents' house, but he was no where to be seen. Finally he realised, the name registry! That was where they had met. Cleveland ran to the name registry and found Eleanor, sitting at the door. Cleveland apologized and said everything he could to try and make Eleanor feel better. He was quite unsuccessful as Eleanor did not say a word.
After half an hour of sitting in silence, Eleanor spoke.
