Human power in terms of employees are the most critical and important resource a business has so far .We can say an effective utilization of employee capability is the focus of the concentration in human resource management .One of the major challenges faced by organization at the present time is to balance the search for competitiveness by consideration training and development and performance appraisal and occupation health and safety business operations. The pressure brought the bear has become even stronger , as companies expand their operation to various parts of the world there by demanding coherence relative to their activities at an international level, due to distributed throughout the business market.

The objective of this essay is to discuss two functions of HRM named as training and development and performance appraisal and occupational health and safety. The essay is developed from bibliographic research of literature related to training and development and performance appraisal and occupational health and safety from human resource management perspective. A synthesis of the problem as a case study is given and the principal implications related to companies who have passed through that kind of situations were highlighted. A discussion indicates that evaluating the needs of an organization, finding people to fill those needs and providing a healthy environment to give motivation and to get high of performance of employees are major critical aspects of the human resource management in a business.
