Final Project for Fahrenheit 451

One of your final assessments for this unit will be a project. Please choose the option that best suits your needs and learning style. Understand that if you choose a group project, you will still receive an individual grade. I will post a sign-up sheet with all of the possible dates for presentations. These dates will be determined on a first come, first served basis. Choose wisely and have fun!

Group Projects:

Present a debate with a partner on one of the themes presented in the book. You have 15 minutes to present the debate.

Dramatize a scene from the book. Present it as a theatrical presentation with props and costumes. Two to four people may participate. You have 7 minutes for each person in the scene.

Create either a newspaper or magazine based on a theme presented in the book. Up to four people may work together. You must distribute the newspaper/magazine to members of the class and present your articles. You have 7 minutes for each person.

Individual Projects:

Deliver a persuasive speech on one of the themes in the book. You have 7-10 minutes.

Design a set for a scene in the novel. You are also to give an oral presentation defending and explaining your design. You have 7-10 minutes.

Create a display of original art that demonstrates several themes in the book. You will give an oral presentation explaining your art display. You have 7-10 minutes.

As Montag, present a persuasive speech detailing the top five books that must be carried on for the benefit of mankind. You have 7-10 minutes
