The street that is full of Corruptness, Beauty and Laughter.

Thirteen years I've lived here on this block in a ranch style house I call home. Old Redford is the name of the subdivision, which to me is simply Detroit. When my husband and I first moved here there were homes full of families. We have watched families move in, and families move out. Some families with a choice and most families had no choice. Single Mother's that had to move away to save there son's and daughter's from all the madness that they were bound to be a product of. On my block you had three choices. To be indulged in the corruption that was transpiring. Secondly, try to understand how people could embrace themselves in all the beauty and sounds of laughter that intertwined a circumference of corruption. Corrupted as he, the dope pusher sells before youngsters, was no more corrupted than she, the prostitute that sells her soul. Right on my block it is all happening, including, abandonment, violence and sacrifice. Everything and anything went on. As if you were at the movies at no cost. To Intensified for the naked eye, let alone a child's eye. In the core depths of Darkness and gloom that lye's beneath. Beauty is in the mist of Flowers that continuously bloom in the spring and summer. Neighbors socializing with one another and helping each other keep the block free of debris and filth. Corruption didn't win but some of the children eventually gave in, in despair of all the sounds of laughter and all the beauty that lye's beneath. This is my block the one that so neat.
