My Hero
My life has been filled with a lot of people who have taught me many valuable lessons. The person who has most influenced me is John Smith. He is a son, a brother, a husband, and most importantly a father and grandfather. He is a tall, stout man. His hair is thinning and has a hint of silver. To someone who does not know him, he may seem unpleasant and standoffish. Quite the opposite; he is the most kind-hearted person one will ever meet. He will do almost anything for anyone. Even though he might have been worried, he did not let it show. He knew he had to be strong for his children. He put his worries aside in order to make sure I would not worry about him. My father has taught me that even when I think everything is falling apart, I have to be tough and take the good with the bad.
For the majority of my father's life, he has been working. He is one of the most hard-working people I know. Even through all of his medical problems, he has continued to work as hard as ever. He just is not content unless he is working on something, even if it is just around the house. Some might say he is a bit of a work-aholic, but he loves it. Not only does he love it, he knows nothing in life is free. Everything he has ever gotten, he has worked hard towards. Nothing has ever been given
