My inclinations

It is human nature to be curious about the environment, life and our identities. I believe that long ago, this quest for identity gradually showed up in various different forms; the main two being religion and science. Religion satisfied some of the people's questions but put a stop to any further attempt to discover ourselves. However, science gradually blossomed and today we understand that we are so because of what goes on at the molecular level. Besides my major, history, theology and child psychology intrigue me.

History vastly speaks of the cultures that are/were followed. It reflects on the beliefs and explains as to why we are the way we are. History is filled with important lessons to learn so that the mistakes committed by our ancestors are not repeated. It is a part of our identity and since it reflects on the cultures, each culture has a unique history to share.

Theology has been a topic of intense interest for me since it conveys so much about human nature. It is not the question of existence of God but that of the origin of religions. All the religions preach moral values (in accordance with what the culture believes in is ideal). God is omnipotent and possesses all the ideal qualities which human beings must try to attain. Religions bring in orderliness in societies and since it is the word of God, it is not in the hands of Ð''mortals' to question His act. Thus, religion is the foundation of life for millions of people.

Theology and History go hand-in-glove; religion being the most powerful source of enlightenment, shaped the behaviors of people. Since a majority of people believe in their religion, the preaching of their religion certainly had a major role to play in their decisions.

The development of behaviors is fascinating. Psychology gives one an insight into the probable cause for a person's behavior/ personality. Since children
