My MHS Chapter
I remember the day my great grandma told me I was coming to MHS. I was coming home from school and my great grandma told me, “You’re going to MHS.” I thought she was going to stay but she said she had to go. That’s when I thought to myself, “How am I going to survive?”
Before I came to this school my life was terrible. I left my mom when I was 3 and my sister Haley in a foster care because she did not want us on the streets with her. Then about 2 weeks later my great grandma Nan came and took me and my sister in. That’s when I was 7 years old my great grandma enrolled us to MHS.
During my years here at MHS I had some good years. I came here when I was 7 in 1st grade. I remember my first day and night at Eastmoor and I cried so much that night. Then I got used to it. My teachers were Mrs. Patroski, Mrs.Galloway, Mrs.Keogler, and Mr. Hartman. I was so excited when I heard about choir and band, so I did it. I did drums since 4th grade Then I went to Conestoga. There my teams where Bears, Jaguars, Egyptians, now Explorers.
I can imagine me in high school, I’m already planning it out. First, graduate and go to high school, graduate high school, then join the National Guard. Then after all that live in the same house I grew up in.
In conclusion, my MHS life was tough before. Now I’m here about to go to high school and graduate from this amazing school. I am definitely grateful that my great grandma put me in this school.
