Naples is a famous place for visiting old and historic places, great shops, restaurants with nice food and many artistic sights. It has a pretty, natural setting with its scenic view of a Mt. Vesuvius. The volcano is a compound type. It has erupted more than 50 times. Besides its beautiful views, the city streets have their own feel of beauty. Mostly everything happens in the streets because there are a lot of people out shopping, eating, cleaning and relaxing. Naples is then 3rd largest city in Italy. It's in the southern part of Italy.
Even though it's a beautiful city it is still dangerous with its bad parts and high unemployment of locals. Even though it's high in unemployment it is known for their ceramics and textiles. Most people are poor but the people don't let it get to them. All the people are joyful and respectful and welcome visitors with open arms.
As stated before they have fine dining, but it is always best to try their pizza. The pizza pie was invented in Naples in the 18th century. The area harvests fruit and vegetables like grapes, potatoes, soy beans, and grains. They also have dairy products, beef, and fish. They have a lot of iron and steel which allows employment. Other means of employment include: machinery, chemicals, clothing and shoe making, food processing, and the making of automotives.
