Idea 1 : Home for modern 65+
The need: Present 65 + have different needs and wishes than people from a previous generation. They do not take enough with just being at home and looking at the plants in front of the windows, or even living together with their children. They want an active independent life, with computers and computer games involved. The elder are getting more and more in number. [2]
Idea for organisation: Virtual organisation. Housing facilities close to public transport, close to medical facilities, close to grocery shop, assisting facilities in house, in house wifi, internet shop, café, restaurant, free times courses, gym, et.
Where: Sweden
Idea 2 : Restaurant chain for people with allergies
The need: for people with allergies or for families that comprise of people with allergies, it is almost impossible to go out and eat (with the exception of McDonalds). These people really have a need for this, since making food required a lot of work every single day.
Idea for organisation: a restaurant chain maybe with the possibility to buy products and possibility to buy the recepies with combination of cooking courses.
Where: Scandinavia
Idea 3 : docking station for mobile phone to replace home phone
The need: In europe it is typical that people have both fixed telephone lines as well as mobile phones. There are some advantages with fixed phones, as you do not have to carry them around. There are also advantages with mobile. Having both, it expensive.
Idea: to have a docking station, where you place in the mobile phone, so it works as a conventional telephone line and one can keep the fixed telephones in the house. The fixed telephone line is no longer needed when being at home

Idea 4 : Producing and selling of Dutch dairy products abroad.
The need: many Dutch people have emigrated. In Sweden alone only around 500 000 Dutch people are living. They import many products, but the importing of Dutch diary products is impossible. It is also known that e.g. tourists to the Netherlands like these products very much.
The Idea: to either import Dutch diary products and sell this to grocery stores. Or to start a own production.

Idea 5 : Virtual expert organisation
The need: many people experience the pressure of working with both partners and having children. One way to relief this pressure is by providing a home office, for at least a majority of the time. The possibility to work flexible, e.g. for instance when the children are asleep or at home, or even part time.
The idea: to start an organisation with a variety of higher and middle educated people that have professions that are using computer and that equally can performed from home as from an official office. Positive side of it, that it is very environmental friendly since people do not have to travel back and forward from their home to the offices.
Where : virtual organisation.
Idea 6: A garden shop specialising in ferns
The need: Most garden shops sell all types of plants, flowering, foliage, cactus, indoor, outdoor, landscaping etc.
The Idea: A specialised fern shop selling only ferns and fern related items including spores (for propagation), fertilizers etc.
Where: In Malaysia initially, expanding to South East Asian region and globally if feasible
Idea 7: A neighbourhood speciality coffee shop
The need: There are 3 main segments of coffee shops in Malaysia:-
i) The international coffee franchises like Starbucks, San Francisco Coffee, Austin Chase etc
ii) The local coffee franchises such as Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, Old Town Kopitiam, Hainan Kopitiam, Pappa Rich etc
iii) Local coffeeshops serving a bitter dark roasted local Robusta blended coffee
The Idea: A specialised coffee shop selling specially sourced coffees for discriminating coffee lovers.
Where: In Malaysia
Idea 8: A mobile phone application that identifies good food in the area
The Need: Mobile phone application like Foursquare share information about popular places and user get 'check-in' points only.
The Idea: A subscription application that not only identifies popular restaurants in the area (based on GPS location), but also suggests the restaurant's specialities and highly recommended dishes.
Where: In Malaysia initially, expanding to South East Asian region and globally if feasible
Idea 9: Regional distributor for the Flyboard Zapata
The Need: Many jet-ski enthusiasts are adrenaline junkies who are looking for a new way to use their jet-skis for
The Idea: The new Flyboard Zapata uses water propulsion powered by a conventional jet-ski engine to enable the user to "fly" or hover over water. The distributorship for the Asia Pacific region would target the large number of jet-ski enthusiasts in the region and would be a profitable proposition.
Where: In the South East Asian region
Idea 10: A mobile application for sharing of product information
The Need: product information and data is presented using brochures and pamphlets
The Idea: A mobile application (Blackberry / Apple /Android etc) which can quickly transmit / download product information. This will replace the paper brochure and pamphlets.
Where: In Malaysia initially, expanding to South East Asian region and globally if feasible
Idea 11 Specialised Pet Shop & Pet Day Care for Dogs
The Need: There are pets in houses which needs grooming and regular maintenance. People do not have enough time to spend behind pets, especially with their pet's fur. When people step out for holidays and due to space constrains in car / hotel, they leave their pets behind at their relatives / friends home and hence neglected.
