Many americans are obese that the percentage of individuals who is overweight is insane. According to work cited (1). The percentage is at a 69% contributing to financial problems because being obese causes health problems in the body which in the long run, the obese individual will need to visit the doctor office many times regarding his or her health. The poor individuals whether it's black, hispanic or caucasian well it does not matter the race but usually the most obese individuals are hispanics and blacks because due to the poverty they live inside then really have no wealth to buy nutritious foods or healthy foods. Caucasians are at a less risk of developing health problems like diabetes or high blood pressure due to caucasians having the double less risk of living in poor conditions so they would have money to buy nutritional foods like salmon or meats. Mcdonald's sells burgers with the price of a dollar so that is very cheap compared to nutritional foods which is why individuals buy burgers from fast foods because it's tasty.

According to the work cited (2), the diseases such as diabetes are associated with the lack of inactivity and very bad food consumption patterns eaten everyday by individuals who is obese. A New york mayor insisted on passing a law in which he insisted for the restaurant fast foods and other non popular restaurants to required to cut down the size of sweet sugary drinks to be reduced to smaller sizes because it obviously not good because it can raise high blood pressure and cause diabetes. As you can see well the mayor wanted to help the residents but the residents did not want to be helped well the residents that is obese did not want be helped because 60% of the new york residents oppose the idea of the major claiming that if that law was to be accepted then the obese residents would be probably be suing for violation of freedom. Obesity has become the popular style of eating since the 2011 twelves states have had percentage of obesity among individuals spike up through the roof reaching over thirty percent in twelve states and years ago only one state had 30 percent above. Now this tell us that the health risks associated with overweight also had to increase in numbers because if the numbers of cases of obesity reported at states here in America grew then also the number of diabetes and other diseases also had to grew in numbers. I don't know if it's the residents fault for not controlling their eating habits or it might be the government's fault for allowing those bad not nutritional foods to be sold to the public people.

The doctor Ananya, she is on work cited (4), she talks about the rising epidemic of obesity and how the culture of an individual has major effect of a person weight. I agree to that because there is Mexican families which cook meals with many amounts of sugar and black families well is the famous Popeye chicken which is good but so unhealthy because it has way too much grease. Eating these unhealthy meals lower the metabolism which takes the food longer to digest lasting solid for a good amount of time inside the stomach so it lead to obesity. Also individuals eat unhealthy foods all day then forget or makeup the excuse that they don't have time to go jogging or visit the gym so the calories which is energy are never lost on the gym because the Individual did not do any physical activity that particular day so that is when gaining weight .

The obesity here in the united states is the highest percentage compare to the rest of the countries in this earth according to work cited (5). The author suggests that most likely Individuals turn into obesity and binge eating throughout the entire day and in long run can become a habit without even noticing it. Most counties just like the kings county which i currently reside, these county experienced growth in obesity due to the lack of support. Suggestions is to be put out in public like maybe communities coming together to play fun physical activity and work together to build food stores with healthy foods to reduce the overweight epidemic crisis which is a scary thing.

Work cited (6), The overweight epidemic has been a major and still is a major costly disease that causes many amounts of money to be treated. REplacing the sugary drinks such as soda or juices containing sugar not from fruits can be replaced by water. The individual needs to be properly hydrated because it reduces hunger leading to people not overeating. Increasing water intake reduces the appetite as a matter of fact, it is good example as to drink a cup of water right when an individual wakes up from bed then try to drink water before every meal so it can reduce the hunger. The author's, work cited (6) say that it is very important to know if an individual is feeling hungry or thirsty. To do this, let's say an individual is feeling like he or she is hungry so he or she can apply it by drinking water first then if after he or she still is still feeling hungry then it be good idea to eat.

Obese individuals compared to those living a healthy lifestyle are at risk or already have serious health diseases. High blood pressure and type two diabetes are just a few in the long list of health conditions caused by obesity. America is the richest country in the world but also the country with the most individuals that are obese.
