Once, Upon a Feeling.
For the first time in my life, I had a feeling of maturity. This was the first step of me growing up. Leaving my house, and going into what seemed like the real world. I was so shy, and never got out, I really didn't like being around anyone other than my family, and friends. I liked sitting at home, alone with my family, but then, I realized, there's always a time to come out of that shell, and show who you are, and that's exactly what I did, just not by choice at all.
It wasn't too long ago that this experience happened. It seemed miles and miles away, but was only next door. This mature moment was when I babysat these two girls, Nadia and Anastasia, for the very first of many times. I was only thirteen years of age when this all occurred. I had a nervous feeling, like being on a roller coaster dropping down to do a loop, walking to their door. Knock, Knock, Ding Dong it went as a waited for the screen do to open. There stood, Mister and Miss Small, Lisa and Brooke were their names. They welcomed me in, and as I walked in, I saw two little girls standing there, almost as shy, and intimidated as I was. Brooke introduced the kids to me, and as I looked around, there was a unfamiliar smell, it was like coffee and cinnamon mixed together. I walked into the kitchen passing the bathroom, and closet, and there, the kitchen with white and black shiny floors, looking as if they were waxed yesterday. There, I see monstrous oven, opened up, with the heat of a thousand fires it seemed right in my face. Brooke said, Pizza's ready! The girls were excited, like they haven't eaten in days, and had a look of happiness, like a child getting a present on Christmas. I stood there, Is there anything I can do? Lisa looked at me grabbing her purse, Well, I haven't done much cleaning, I've been sick and It's Brookes birthday, so you could clean up a bit if you want too. Okay, That would be fine. I said, thinking, man, I thought I was babysitting not being a maid. Lisa showed me around, acted like I was born in the 1800's and couldn't work a television. It was quite funny, that I even let out a chuckle. She looked at me, Teenagers (rolling eyes).
After they were gone, and it was only me and the girls. I sat them down, gave them some pizza, and just waited till they were done. Once, all finished, I didn't really know what to do. Nadia, the four year old, looked at me, like I was suppose to know what to do, and said, Aren't you going to put in me and sisters bed time movie, like my mommy does?
I went ahead in put in Cinderella, and as we started watching, I heard a big BANG on the door, I freaked out, and looked out the window, to find no one there, I started to panic. I told myself everything was okay, and not to worry, So I did exactly that. As the movie proceeded, the bang happened again, I look at the window, almost immediately only to have to
