ANSWER – 2
This video is very informative as it shows that the electronic communication is now in trend either at the workplaces or between any informal groups. As electronic communication can be done through:
- Phone Calls
- Text Messages
- E-mails
Although different people have their different expectations and needs from the technology but in this video , the interaction between individuals had become limited to e-mails only as the face to face interactions and meetings at personal level has been getting dramatically decreased due to the introduction of internet on the cell phones. Although the advanced technological gadgets has made our life very easy and comfortable but over dependency on electronic communication has lessen the spice of relationships. As many research has been done in this video that shows cell phones are not only popular among the teenagers but also among the elders as they are taking up their phones everywhere and they have perceptions about being multi-tasking that means using phones while driving also and then they get into serious accidents.
The meaning of true emotions has been disappeared somewhere. However, at the workplaces also managers are using the e-mails to keep a check on their employees during task when they are not physically present in the office. This is truly against the ethics of every workplace as “The more you invest in technology, the less is your productivity”.
Along with this deep thinking has been taken up by superficial knowledge. It has also given birth to the barriers of communication: Lack of expressing of emotions, non-verbal communication, selective perception and many more. It also had a great impact our oral and written skills as over dependency on internet and sending e-mails reduce the impact of the real meaning of communication.
