The paragraph option in the format menu may be the most important feature of Word. It allows you to choose your text alignment, indents and line spacing.
Double Spacing a Document
1. Select Area to be double-spaced.
2. Remember you can select the entire document by pressing Ctrl+A
3. Go to Format Menu and select Paragraph
4. In the Line Spacing Area select double or type in the number
5. Click OK
Paragraph Alignment
1. Select Area to be aligned.
2. Remember you can select the entire document by pressing Ctrl+A
3. Go to Format Menu and select Paragraph
4. In the Alignment area click on the down arrow to access the drop down menu.
5. Select Left, Right, Center or Justified. Click OK
