A child without a conscious or self-control is a life-long problem for the rest of society, when public sectors get involved, the cost becomes visible to the rest of society, The statistics and probabilities of kids who grow up in a single parent household or foster. Also the genetic background that can affect their lives.

She used statistics from the Wisconsin Department of health and social services to prove his point. 13 percent of the kids in the juvenile center had married parents, 33 percent had divorced or separated families, and 44 percent were never married.

She used the 1987 Survey of Youth in Custody to show that 70 percent of the youth in state reform institutions had grown up in single or no parent situations.

She also used the budgets of California to show how much it cost to keep them in prison or juvenile jail compared to how much it would cost if they did something good with their lives.

I thought I was going to at the beginning because he did not state anything about how some kids could turn out okay. He was not giving the other side of the kids who were beating those odds, but as I read he explained how kids could turn out okay and gave the example about smoking and cancer.
