"HERO"

What makes a person a hero? Is it the firefighter who gets into a burning building

because he thinks that there may be someone in there? Is it the basketball star that has

used his fame and fortune to develop an after school program for kids in his hometown?

Is it the teacher whose dedication to her students helps them not only learn about history,

math and science, but also what it means to be a good person and to care for others?

In this paper I'm going to talk about what I think a hero really is. So you don't have to

believe what I'm going to say. Well this is what I believe. I think heroes don't have to be

super man or captain america and other super heroes like that. I mean a true hero is

someone who risks their live saving another ,a good example for this is the firefighters,

police and volunteers that were helping at the 9/11 case or is a single mother who has to

raise children by them selves as my mom has done. Or to stand up to people who dislike

other cultures or colors. I think someone like Marthin Luther King is a hero and I'm not

colored I'm Mexican. So you don't have to be the same color or culture of your hero to

think there your hero. I think that a hero has to have courage and be brave to save another
