Have Things in Common Might Eradicate Racism
At the end of this semester, we came to a very popular and sensitive topic, Racism. It is a "real" issue in daily life; you can see and experience it almost everywhere you go. Then the question is: would we have a chance to get rid of it? According to my point of view, these "red flags" would never disappear from the world as long as there are different race live in the world unless all of us have many things in common, such as the same education, same life style, same culture, speak the same language, ect. According to the statement below, I don't have an agreement on it.
"The only way for all people in the USA to have the full freedom, equality, and justice that we are promised in our national ideology is to abolish our faith in the existence of real race. And the only way to do that is to eradicate racism, because that is what creates different social orders for the different races. And, the only way to eradicate racism is if we learn to travel to each other's worlds. Then true friendship between the races will be possible, and will teach us real justice."
This statement, in the other words, the only way to destroy racism in order to for all of us to have the full freedom, equality and justice in USA is to travel to each other's worlds and have real justice.
