This poem is a wonderful piece of work. It proves to us that beauty is within, that you don't have to be "built to suit a fashion models size" to be beautiful. True womanhood is about character and sexuality. And she shows us that the sexuality of a woman is not directly related to a pretty face, big bosoms or skimpy dressing. It's about what a lady feels within herself. In this piece there is appreciation, acceptance and celebration, of who we are, what we do, how we live... but most importantly, that we are perfect, just as we are. If all woman new that we are all perfect in our own ways, we will begin to see a difference in today's society. Men will begin to show more respect for us because we wouldn't need them to make us feel important. We would already know our value and also no man could make us feel less of ourselves.

That is what's wrong with today's society. Many women try so hard to fix themselves to look more like the women in magazines and television. There are many stupid things some women do like get breast implants, laser treatments, face lifts, lip enhancements, and much more, but they are all ridiculous thing to do. Some people don't know why women do this, but I know why. Women will do almost anything to feel accepted, wanted, and receive attention from men. Women like this are so insecure, and no matter how many surgeries and changes they go through they never will be happy with themselves. Because it is embedded in there mind that they are ugly and imperfect.

When I was in junior high school all the guys will tell me that I was too skinny and had little breast. This stuck with me all the way to high school when I started realizing that even though I didn't get the attention that I wanted, it's ok because all they would've wanted me for was for my body not my mind.
