I was reading Paulo Coelho’s new book Brida when it dawned on me that life isn’t actually complicated…we simply make it to be

The book talks about soul mates and the idea of soul mates. According to the book, each of us has more than one soul mate and in our lifetime we meet at least one of them. But the problem is sometimes we’ve already met our soul mate but we do not accept them into our lives. So how you say will we know if they are our soul mates?

Honestly I do not know but my idea is that if we only stop being afraid of getting hurt, being different, being not successful, failing, being unpopular…all of these negative things…then I’m sure life will be simple.

I have a friend who told me that life would’ve been simple if the person you meet had a tag saying “вЂ¦Ð²Ð‚™s soul mate”. I replied ya it would have been but then there would no longer be an adventure in finding “the one”. Because the journey to finding our soul mate is already a great adventure as long as we’re not afraid and we never give up. That journey allows us to grow and to be the person who could protect the one we love. The journey makes us appreciate our soul mate even more because we feel good, we feel happy when we’re with them.

But then again, even if we’ve met our soul mate but we’re not ready then nothing will happen because we wouldn’t be able to love them as they deserve to be. And we might even end up hurting them and ourselves.

I do not know if I’ve met my soul mate but I know for sure that I’ll grow into someone that when I look back to, I will not have any regrets as to how I lived my life. I had another conversation with another friend, he told me that life can’t possibly
