THE DAY I DISCOVERED NOTHING
WoohÐ'... The smell of the cool morning breezeÐ'... just enough to keep my mind at peace and my body at restÐ'... Wait a minute you might be thinking that I'm referring about the Christmas Ð" la mode thingy, actually you ain't actually wrong about your speculation but I wanna make it straight to you that I'm not writing this for Christmas' sake! While reading this paper, you might be thinking about those philosophers from the past and how did they frustrate the history of mankind like how Thales told us that all things are made up of water and how Heraclitus told us that it's about fireÐ'-- so what do they mean, that life is a fire truck and a fire?! People who accepted their philosophies don't have their own! Mipanyilab tana mu ba! (let's just burn all things up!) It might be strange but all I can say is that they are just a bunch of wanna-be's who wanted to sound intelligent among people. Ok I also wanted to sound wise so I'm gonna tell you my own meaning: Philosophy is nothing! Yup you read that right, NOTHING. It's nothing in the sense that it has no particular meaning or explanation but it's up to you how you look at it and it depends on your present state. Actually, I just came up with this idea while I was lying at the duyan (swing-like bed) outside our house doing nothing. It seems to me that doing nothing rewards me a sense of tranquility (it's different from sleepiness mind you!), a feeling that I may consider priceless. Then after that, I began to ask myselfÐ'... What if everything in this world is like nothing? Maybe it would be perfect, maybe not; still it's up to you what to consider. I don't want to affect other people's mind or change the way they think toward things for I believe that every people have their own philosophy or understanding. It all varies if what they believe
