AMITY
While sitting by a rippling stream,
I envisioned a baby sleeping,
With the winds gently touching my skin
And the sweet scent of pine was roaming.
Yet I had to open my eyes
And continuously hear the endless cries,
Blood flows from sudden rage of skies,
Even the blameless had to sacrifice.
Why can’t we be in an island of peace?
And smoke the peace pipes with our peers?
When can we find remorse in our heart
And work hand in hand as an art?
How can we achieve the amity
If we don’t have sense of humanity?
Don’t we want to live harmoniously?
Well, it all starts within you and me.
PEACE
The wind scream for the entire day
And the clouds cover the earth with grey.
Lightless domicile is where they stay,
As if hiding, for they are the prey.
Yet it’s far from what is ideal,
Where kids should be playing with their pal.
Peace and laughter instead of sorrow,
How can this be achieved tomorrow?
No more rampage and corpse on the land
If each of us will make up our mind,
And take any moment to unwind,
Realizing peace shouldn’t be banned.
Sweet taste and fragrance of a flower
Is present when there is peace all over,
And hug is shared to one another,
Like cat and dog curled up together.
PEACE
The wind scream for the entire day
And the clouds cover the earth with grey.
Lightless domicile is where they stay,
As if hiding, for they are the prey.
Yet it’s far from what is ideal,
Where kids should be playing with their pal.
Peace and laughter instead of sorrow,
How can this be achieved tomorrow?
No more rampage and corpse on the land
If each of us will make up our mind,
And take any moment to unwind,
