Principle of Survival - Cya

I have been apart of a few different organizations in the last few years, but being in the military I have been able to relate to the "Principle of Survival: CYA". Being a young private in the Army you have to constantly make sure you are covering your tracks and looking out for yourself since anyone can challenge you about something at just about any time. This can include being at the right place at the right times, being in the correct uniform, or just making sure your NCO is tracking any outside appointment or problem you may have going on.
One thing I constantly see happening to young privates is their NCO not tracking appointments that they have. Privates don't remind their NCO of upcoming appointments they may have so when the day comes and they are no where to be found, they find themselves getting "smoked". They fail to give a quick reminder whether it's via text the day before or a note left on their NCO desk. Simple reminders so that everyone is tracking what's going on have been the best way to "CYA" and avoid a bad smoking session.
The morning after pill is an effective emergency contraception pill that is used to prevent pregnancy after unprotected sex. There are two types of emergency contraception methods, which consist of levenorgesterel pills and IUD insertion. Both forms of emergency contraception can be used up to five days after engaging in unprotected sexual intercourse. Emergency contraception works as a form of birth control not abortion. Emergency contraception pills prevent a woman’s ovaries from being able to release an egg to join with sperm. The ParaGard IUD is another form of emergency contraception that can be used within five days of performing intercourse.
