John F. Kennedy can be remembered as not only the thirty-fifth president of the United States of America, but as one of the most compassionate figures the nation has ever seen. He never turned his head and walked away from problems, yet he embraced them and did everything he could to ensure that the job was taken care of. He was the youngest president ever selected into office (42 yr. old), yet he faced everything like a veteran. His life held countless accomplishments that changed the face of the nation. He was a major supporter of civil rights and wanted equality in the nation he had control of. Even through such nail biters as the Cuban Missile Crisis, and the outer space race, he maintained to hold down his own and did whatever he could to help our nation in its time of need. He never stopped until the job was done and many Americans who did not approve soon began to hold a deep appreciation for JFK.

The assassination of our president was one of the most depressing days in America’s history. To lose such a great leader to the nation is a great loss. No man and family, and especially our president shouldn’t have to go through rough times such as this. JFK was a great man and a great leader, one who you would want to lead your nation through struggles and good times. When JFK first entered not many liked him including congress, and he did such a great job that he changed the views of congress as well as a great deal of the nation. He will always be remembered for many things he accomplished and famous quotes. One such as “Ask not what your country can do for you; ask what you can do for your country.” John F. Kennedy leaves behind his wife (Jackie), son (John), daughter (Caroline), and also a nation who loved him so dearly. JFK will always be remembered and adored, and will never be forgotten.
