There are a variety of reasons that I am motivated to become educated. The three that are most important to me is to follow my dreams and goals, be the first in my family to graduate from college, and have an excellent career. That is what motivates me to become educated.
My first motive to be educated is so I can follow all of my hopes and dreams. I always wanted to become a nurse because I love to help others than myself. You can not be a nurse without any education. My other dream is to be in the military. I have wanted to go into the military since I was a little girl; my whole family is in the military. If there is something that you really want to do, you have to go for it and do not give up.
My second motive to be educated is so I can be the first to graduate from college to make myself and my family proud. Before my grandfather passed away he told me to never give up and to make him proud. I do not want to let him or myself down. To be the first to graduate from college will be a big accomplishment for me. My mother and father did not go to college, and they do not want me to make the same mistake that they did. A college education is very important. When you do graduate and get your degree, that degree helps you get the career that you want and NOT a JOB.
Having a good career is my third motive to be educated. I am working for an excellent career and not an excellent job so I will not have to depend on anybody else to be the bread winner. I want to be the bread winner in the household. I do not want to live in poverty or live from paycheck to paycheck just to make it through the month. I want to take paid vacations and have paid personal sick days. A career is not always about the amount of money you make, it is about what you like to do to help yourself and others.
In conclusion, there are three things that motivate me to become educated which are to follow my dreams and goals, to be the first to graduate from college
