RICHARD MATHESON AN OVERRATED WRITER

Secret father of zombie cinema, agent of the unknown dimension and great science fiction writer whose works attest the modern cinematography with jewels of high altered consciousness, Richard Matheson is the mastermind behind dozens of tapes and series that surely you've loved.

An incredible career that led him to collaborate in teams, rather than prestigious, now cult and even mythical. His creations challenge the most far-fetched imagination and at the same time continue to resonate in our emotional fibers with great force.

Richard Burton Matheson, best known only with his first name and surname, is a North American a great writer who was born in the year of 1926. I believe that it is a responsibility to re-discover a figure as brilliant as Matheson is new generations who come to a medium such as Pijamasurf. From time to time is born a star, Star not contained directly in the firmament where others are recognized, rather being the stellar light and not the stars themselves; supplementing them this light which brings life to wonderful authors that are commonly admired massively.

Matheson fought in front of the second world war and later changed his life moving from Brooklyn to California. It was there where he began, like all writers of science fiction and fantasy of his generation, publishing in journals. Interestingly before graduated as a journalist by the University of Missouri, so we could guess that the interest of Matheson was by what was happening day with every level feature of life real, just that using the metaphor as a lethal weapon against the complacent reader's mind and after the Viewer.
