Who is to blame for the tragedy of Romeo and Juliet?

The tragedy of Romeo and Juliet revolves around many facts but mainly focuses on the family feud. First of all I will start off telling you about the family feud and why it had such an effect on the tragedy then I will lead into other facts such as Friar Laurence, who believed that if Romeo and Juliet were married it would stop the family feud and I will also talk about how strong the love was between Romeo and Juliet. All these facts play an important role in the tragedy of Romeo and Juliet.

The Montague and Capulet family feud played a very important role in this film. As Romeo is from the Montague family and Juliet is from the Capulet family it was obviously going to be hard for the two to pursue the love they shared for each other. Tybalt, member of the Capulet family despises Romeo to the max and is out to kill him. A fight between the two ended in Romeo killing Tybalt causing the Capulet family to hate Romeo even more and the Prince of Verona banishing Romeo. Romeo being banished meant he had to leave his love Juliet which left her 'love sick'. If the families accepted the love between Romeo and Juliet to expand and allowed them to be with each other they would still be alive. Capulet pushing Juliet to marriage with Paris triggered her to kill herself in my opinion. The Montague and Capulet family feud should have ended when they realized their children were in love with each other.

The irreplaceable love that Romeo and Juliet shared for each other also played an important role in this film. The feelings they had for each other grew too great for either one of them to handle losing

each other. Romeo and Juliet killed themselves for each other. If they had tried to let go of their love and find a new interest they would still be alive. Seeing one another lying dead next to each other was probably the hardest thing for them both. It was at that moment they felt the pain of loss and wanted it to end. I also believe that Friar Laurence played a main role as he provided Juliet with a drug not for death as she asked but for temporary sleep.
