My element's name is silicon. I choose silicon because the name sounded interesting and I wanted to learn more things about it. After doing my research I learned that silicon is kind of like a rock it is hard shiny. I learned that this element is the second most abundant element, and that it is used to make glass and it is also known as a semiconductor
