Sisterly Love Can Overcome All

There once lived two sisters named Summer and Haley. Both sisters shared an intimate connection, which no one understood. It was as if they were one person, one mind, and one soul. Through their years they grown to hate yet love each other, for both could not live without another. Their sisterly love cannot be fully explained with words, but one might say that it was profound and fathomless.
They thought they were inseparable, for their relationship can endure all. It never occurred to them that a force so big can tear them apart. They graduated from high school, ready to become freshmen in college. Both were ecstatic about the proximate year, for they were going to be roommates in their new dorms. But suddenly, Summer received tragic news about her health. She discovered that her heart is giving out and that she has exactly three months to live. She was devastated from the news, but heard the glorious sound of the word, "But." The doctor informed her that the only way she would survive is for her to have a heart transplant. The only problem was her blood type and heart size was extremely rare. At this moment, Summer knew she had no hope, she was going to die from a heart failure.
As she gravely walked home and stepped inside, Haley knew something was wrong. For Summer was always perky and bubbly, but today she walked inside like a zombie. Haley asked her sister what was wrong and received the catastrophic news. She felt her knees shaking with fear and anxiety, as darkness began to close in. She felt the anguish and pain slowly choke her throat. To search for any signs of hope, even a single ray, she asked her sister if there was a cure. Summer replied that there is only one solution, which is to have a heart transplant. Haley's eyes glittered as she saw a light through the dark tunnel, but Summer explained in plain words that it was impossible. She clarified that there was no heart available for her that would match her chest cavity as well as her blood type. Both sisters began to weep on each others shoulders for they both knew that death was inevitable.
In the middle of the night, Haley heard her sister praying and weeping for a miracle that she would have some hope of living. Realizing that she has the same blood type and similar chest cavity, Haley knew what she had to do. At the crack of dawn, she left to the hospital to reason with Summer's doctor.
