Slavery in America began in the early 17th Century and continued to be practiced for the next 250 years by the colonies and states. Slave trade began by the war among tribes. The captives were sold to the Arab sellers. When the demanding for slaves in America is increased as result of kidnapping by African movement, selling or changing the slaves for little things such as liqueur, clothes, accessories, sword and gun
Slaves, mostly from Africa, were taken from Africa in various ways such as buying,catching or willing to be slave to work in the production of tobacco crops and later, cotton. With the invention of the cotton gin in 1793 along with the growing demand for the product in Europe, the use of slaves in the South became a foundation of their economy. The earliest time the black people came in 1619 in the state of eastern , in the area of Virginia, after that they was coming continuously until two hundred years ago. There were the slaves who were taken about twelve million people.In the late 18th century, the abolitionist movement began in the north and the country began to divide over the issue between North and South. The election of Abraham Lincoln, a member of the anti-slavery Republican Party, to the presidency in 1860 convinced many Southerners that slavery would never be permitted to expand into new area acquired by the US and might ultimately be abolished. Eleven Southern states attempted to separate from the Union, resulting to the Civil War.
The image of slavery from many books and films is the humans are chained, beaten and attacked or tortured by violent way including putting by a hot steel on the slave’s body to sign the owner. The slaves are not different from animal. The slave trade is same as animal trade. The slaves are separated from their dear family chained and they traveled far way for difficult to escape to the centre of slave trade. There is bid and sign the owner and then sent to the dirty , tightly and torment. Many slaves is dead and thrown down to the sea like carcass.
