As my mother needed wood for the tribe dance, I seeked out in the Ghana jungle two sisters pasted by. I didn"t pay much to where they went. As the jungle was silent for second, sounds of footsteps appeared to my ears from behind. I dropped the log to see the sister from earlier. Few moments later the two sisters chased me north but a white man came aside them.After ten minutes of running my legs gave up. As I dropped to my knees some of my own kind came from different directions, I had no more to go and i was caught.

As the chains rub against skin, the corpse of the dead bodies rocked back and forth would occasionally rubbed against my skin. As the women cried Journey Of Slavery

out for help, the white man would come down to shut up the people of my own kind. The smell of vomit, urine. and poop filled the cargo.The white man would occasionally release us from ours chains and take us to the top of the ship. The workers would shower us with saltwater to avoid diseases. We dropped to ours knees and screamed in pain.

We arrived to a hot place and put in a metal cell. As chains rubbed against my neck. Mothers, daughters,sons, and fathers would scream to the white the man to bring back their loved ones.Next, I was dragged to a stage in front of white figure. A man started to shout numbers louder and louder as the more number increased. They took me away from loved ones that i would never see again.

As my new owner ordered me to work, I quickly learned my routine but occasionally would mess up. I was beaten sometimes by my own kind. As the thorns from the cotton would enter my skin. I was slowly dying inside and out.
