If you have a television then you might be familiar with many commercials that frown upon the smoking and tobacco business. But although these form of protest against smoking and tobacco are just ordinary commercials they are in all honesty correct. In fact, many recent studies on smoking and tobacco have come to the conclusion that those who smoke and chew tobacco have only brought upon themselves all the negative effects that they have to offer, both immediate and long term. Moreover smoking and chewing tobacco also effect those around the smokers such as family and friends. So, smoking can change ones lifestyle, can effect ones family members, and more importantly ones health.
Nicotine is the main chemical in cigarettes which hooks the smoker into becoming an addict. Because of this chemical and its effects life altering changes occurs in a persons life style. Such as mood swings, irritability, depression, low self-esteem issues, loss of appetite, and effect in right judgement. All of these life style changes are part of a domino effect which can occur one after another and most often do. First comes a loss of an appetite, and as common sense tells us, usually when a person is deprived of food anger is usually followed by it. Loss of appetite then leads to uncontrollable mood swings which usually ends up as a catastrophic start on a pathway towards destruction. Now that uncontrollable mood swings have entered the mind of a smoker irritability come into play of their life. Irritability is defined as easily annoyed and always ends in the smoker angry at anyone that might cross paths with them which only adds to the path of destruction and leaves the smoker with a greater urge to smoke. Now comes the the part that studies have shown is the absolte hardest on smokers,depression.
