There is a girl named Jenna. She is a senior and has been working her whole life to get good grades and be a great kid. She is now accepted to harvard. She is excited. She has a best friend and she all of a sudden starts to act weird. In the book she starts to lose weight, steal stuff, and sleep with her boyfriend. Jenna also has a boyfriend. In the book her boyfriend continuously tries to pressure her to sleep with him. Ofcourse, being the good student she is, she doesnt give in. One day her best friend tells her her parents are getting divorced. To cheer her up they go shopping. Jenna thinks she sees her stealing nail polish but isnt sure. Then when she asks her about it she insults Jenna and says shes hitting on other guys. They are now in a fight. One day she hears her boyfriend and bestfriend talking and she is yelling at him. " Dont do it," she says "or i will kill you." Jenna is curious about this but Her boyfriend, Scott, wont tell her what it is about. Her best friends boyfriend also notices that something is wrong with her. On New years night they all go to a party. Scott (her boyfriend) gets Jenna a beer. All of a sudden while dancing she starts to feel wierd but she only had one beer. What can be wrong? Her bestfriend starts yelling at Scott. "You did it, didnt you?" she yells. Jenna is rushed to the hospital. She is then tested and is said to have been given the date rape drug. The next day her best friend comes to see her. She says shes sorry for everything and she knew about the drug. Scott had given it to her and she tried to stop him but he did it anyways. She apoligizes and they become friends again. Jenna is done with Scott. She tells him to leave her alone and is done with him. She knows it will all be ok now.
