Introduction:
The Rock Musicarium is a place for everyone who is fond of arts and music. It is a platform for all artists and music listeners to express and share in a café environment.
The Rock Musicarium was started in 2005 by Aurangzeb who has a great fond of Pakistan music and creative music talent.
The Rock Musicarium is based in Islamabad, The landscape and pre-fabricated structure is located at an appropriate and exclusive place at rawal lake side. The landscape has artistic sculptures and café area to sit and relax while participating in karaoke or listening to live rock music played by underground as well as main stream artists on regular basis.

To transform hearts, minds and communities through the power of rock music.

Music has the capability to trigger emotions and bring out the true self people. It makes them take action for their life goals.

Music broadens vision and gives a new perspective to see things. The lyrics catalyze human creative thinking process

Mission Statement
The Rock emphasizes on satisfying effect of live music on the environment giving an opportunity to all aspiring artists, bands as well as veterans of the region to regularly play music in the exclusiveness of nature and light minded listeners, which will create freedom of creative expression for all individuals.

- Stage setup, natural with artistic wooden back drop and equipment ready to rock. Audience capacity of at least 1000 in front of the indoor stage and 3000 outdoor stage.
- Café for food and beverages.
- Jamming room available for practicing artists for rehearsals and creativity in more natural and noise free environment.
- Gallery for musical equipment and cd display of all local and underground and main stream artists.
- Workshops on various music aspects and music theory.
The Café
The Rock Musicarium will be offering a menu of food and beverages with a distinctive image as the whole menu will be created on the theme of music with different song name of each item.
Ambience
As you enter, you see a stage setup
The café has pre-fabricated walls and thatched ceiling to give it a natural and original look. Tables and chairs will be made of wood and stone. It has two sections, one inside (covered) and one outside (open)
Inside Café Sitting Area
Inside is a permanent sound system and stage setup for the artists to perform. The interior is designed artistically giving a very cozy (wood & stone) yet classy look to it with various paintings and musical instruments on the walls. It has a wooden bar like counter at one side and a pre-set stage and sound set up with a drum set. Personal signatures and comments of various celebrities and different music instruments all spread around the place on the walls and the roof. Live Music will be played regularly by underground and by mainstream bands of Pakistan.
Outside Café sitting area
Outside sitting area will be active mostly in pleasant seasons. It is for those who want light music reaching their ears and are into eating and chatting more than listening.
Why Music at the Rock?
- Music expresses a cultural history and legacy, it provides a window to other cultures, and as such evokes empathy and understanding and builds social bonds.
- To spark one’s sense of creativity, ones openness to innovation. Here’s abstraction, complexity, surprise, and sense of play enhance a person’s latent creative impulse.
- Music encourages freedom, expression, personal relationship and the creativity of the mind.
- Music as the voice of the community, demonstrates power to express a community’s response to an event or movement and as such, moves the people to more in depth understanding, stronger vision and more action oriented social bonds.
More self-indulgent and non commercial form of music should spread around so that creativity and contribution of music to our society is enriched.
