Fat Butt Franny…
I saw those three words in the Sugar Mountain Gazette this morning and it brought back memories. All that was five years ago almost to the day. I remember being interviewed at the Cupcake Castle and my parents noticed right away. My parents called me to come back home but my sweet tooth got the best of me. I was a fat butt.
Enchanted by the scent of rainbow sprinkles, the colorful frostings, and the shadow that walked through the night five years ago. The shadow of Fat Butt Franny.
It was in the Sugar Mountain that the Cupcake Crisis began on April 2, 2008. And at ten after eleven on that night, an innocent Sugarian, Jessie Frootloop, was strolling along Cupcake Drive when she witnessed Cupcake Castle getting broken into by a heavy set woman. The woman with her hands filled with all different types of cupcakes made a get away once she saw Jessie.
The next day news crews swarmed the area and Sugarians were eager with questions- who? Why? When do you think they’ll get her? And always the final, most important question: Did she take all the cupcakes?!
All the police knew about the Cupcake Crook was she targeted cupcake spots, she got the munchies in the late hours of the night, she must have been in track for fat people, because boy could Franny run!
Half a dozen police conducted and investigation on Sugar Mountain. On my way to catch a movie at Regal Cinnamon, I was asked to show my ID.
“Do I like cupcakes?” the policeman asked cunningly.
“Is this about the Cupcake Crisis?” I asked, after I told him that everyone and their mothers likes cupcakes.
