Street Racing
I'm here to talk to you about the reasons that I think why Street Racing shouldn't be legal. The three reasons I think why there shouldn't be any Street Racing in America are it isn't safe, it isn't legal, and it endangers other people lives.
The reason I think it is not safe. One in every ten deaths in an accident is because of Street Racing. Next motor vehicle crashes are the leading cause of death for 16-20 year olds. Finally nationwide statistics show that 49 people are injured for every 1,000 people who participate in illegal street racing.
The next reason is because it is not legal in America. You can be arrested and have your car impounded for thirty days. The next reason is your driver's license can be revoked. Finally your car insurance may be cancelled or the rates can dramatically increase.
The final reason is it endangers other people's lives. Cars in and around Illegal Street races are often issued equipment violations. The next example is citations are issued to all people in and around Illegal Street races. Finally People can easily get hurt in and around Street Races.
Here is the other side of the story; it shows that people are cool because they street race. That shows how stupid you are for even thinking about street racing. I t shows who they are by the modifications. It shows how stupid they are for wasting all their money on their car.
After looking over all the facts and opinions I think that street racing should never be legal but people are still going to do it anyway. We still should not let anyone street race illegally because it isn't safe, it isn't legal, and it endangers other people's lives. Would you go running into a wall with your car going over 115 miles per hour because I wouldn't?
