Stress is a response to pressure resulting form unusual situation or change of events.
Explanation:
The process of handling, reducing its effects and controlling stress in termed as stress management; this is important for the survival of stressed individuals and anybody who comes across stress.
Harassment and maximum supervision is one of the stress I have ever encountered. I have a manager who always believes that I am wrong and yet my work is perfect and I meet my targets. This has become a major problem in my work and every morning I wake up I feel like the day should end faster and that I should not go to work. Stress has a lot of effects and I was not spared from depression, self denial, loss of appetite and several other effects.
Dealing with stress is important and there are several ways of managing it. Some of the ideas that helped are as enumerated. For one to reduce stress he or she is required to have a strong attitude and self believe, I also believed in myself. One should believe in himself and be confident. Also one should be able to control him or herself; this means that emotions should not be employed. One should be able to handle the situation in a sober manner and realize that life is important that anything else. Some of the most harmful sources of stress may be marriage problems and relationships. It is therefore required that the effected people should go for guiding and counseling from experts so as to avoid its effects. Though I did not attend one I was able to overcome the stress at my work place by the first simple steps.
A very strong and supportive family and friends are very important in case one is stressed. They can help by encouraging and consoling the affected persons. It is therefore important that one should connect with others so as to help contribute to ideas that can reduce stress.
The steps above are within the plan and can help other reduce stress. Though I was able to handle my situation alone, there resulting some situations where the management can get in to reduce the stress where possible. For example stress resulting from separation from family due to work place distance can be solved by posting the employee to a place near his or her family. Also the management should hold seminars on how to reduce and manage stress. The most stressed employees are the female ones especially if they are needed to priest feed. The employer should allow for time for this situation.
Work place stress can be addressed by the employer by ensuring that the working environment if conducive to work in. The employer should also ensure that there are enough resources for use so as to reduce and avoid work place stress.
However, the employer is not obliged to help in case of non-work related stress.

The stressor in my life is low income it can be reduced by starting another business or looking for a better paying job. I cannot handle this situation by myself and I will have to consult my manger and other co-workers for financial assistance that will help me in starting a business
