Company over View: Sun Rocket is an internet phone service that provides local, long distance and international phone service for a very reasonable price to our customers. Our customers can manage their call logs over the web and usage instantly which is a great advantage. The internet phone service is less expensive than most traditional land lines and cellular plans.
Upon careful consideration and research, India has been selected as a potential market for our services. There has been resent deregulation and liberalization of telecommunication laws and policies which have promoted tremendous growth opportunities both in private and public investors. Currently cellular services are picking up faster than traditional land line, so with the rapid advancement of the internet this would be considered politically and legally as a potential market.
The following is an overview of the political and legal background of India to support the above findings. India received independence from the United Kingdom on August 15, 1947. Their legal system is based on English common law, judicial review of legislative acts; accepts compulsory ICJ jurisdiction with reservation and has separate personal law codes that apply to Muslims, Christian, and Hindus.
