Demonstration speech
Introduction
Drawing for some people may be challenging. Others are very talented and have no problem making excellent drawings. I am one of those people, who can't draw. In fact when it came to drawing, I spent more time erasing then actually drawing; however that all changed overnight, I never used my eraser again. When I was about twelve years old, my older brother bought me a projector and gave it to me for Christmas. Today I want to inform you about how I became an overnight Picasso, using my projector.
Body of Speech
I. Setting up the projector
A. Place the projector on a flat, sturdy surface.
1. Make sure the projector has a bulb in it.
2. Ensure the projector is near an outlet.
3. Plug the projector cable into an outlet.
II. Prep the room
B. You need a dark room, with no distractions.
1. Cover up any source of light for example windows, lamps, TV's, computer monitor etc.
2. Music helps me focus when I draw, so I recommend you have a radio.
3. Get rid off distractions. For example turn of your cell phone, or any other electronic device that may go off.
III. Deciding what to draw
C. Pick something interesting to you.
1. Now that you have found what you want to draw, place the projector on top of the design, pattern, or photograph,
