Many teenagers have been born five years before to two years before the Internet made its appearance. The Internet has changed since its first appearance. Today's teenagers are a lot different than the teenagers that can a decade before them. Some of today's teens have a tendency to use the computer and the Internet for more then school research, reports and projects. Teens are now getting a new hobby, digital art. Digital art is more common among teens than it is adults. Many teens today are capable of writing books, creating music, and making artwork on their computer and posting it up on the internet, on "blogs" or forums, bulletins where people can post topics and be active. File sharing is another thing many teens have discovered over the past five years. File sharing is where a person can download music from other computers for free. This of course is anonymous from who a person can download from. Half of the teens know that peer-to-peer network, such as Limewire, and Kazaa, are illegal, where the other half do not even know it. Results showed that seventy five percent of students said that file sharing was so easy to do that it was impossible for anyone to not do. Many teenagers are also careless about copyright issues, and do not care of the current consequences. Fifty two percent of the teenagers who posted up their digital art were concerned about copyright issues than the teens who did not post up artwork.

This is relevant to history because it changes what the modern teenagers are going to do in the near future. Many teenagers have because really interested in computers since they have grown up around using them. There are still a good amount of teenagers who do not know much about computers, yet still use it for gaming downloads, and school reports. Some teenagers have been influenced by books, games, and teachers to use the computer for more than using, which is creating. Many teens use computers to create
