The Beach
The place where I feel most comfortable is a place where I am calm. A place that's beautiful, in its own natural ways. The feel of moist sand, squished between your toes, cool water rising up to your ankles relieving stress off your mind as you explore your surroundings. You feel the wind passing through with power of might but ever so gentle it explores the outside of your body. It's a place where I can sit and think the best where nothing matters but what's in that little moment, this place is the ocean.
Just as I sit down in the warm, golden sand. My mind starts to unravel. Ehen it comes down to going to the beach, my all time favorite thing to do is to take time and explore the natural beauty of the environment. My boyfriend and I enjoy spending time together watching the sunset with its passionate, pastel colors as it slowly decreases in the horizon. It flooded the sky with magnificent colors of purple, red, and deep shades of orange. It brought out the tensions between us to where we are more focused on each other with a stronger communication rather than sitting around, watching television all day. I also tend to enjoy standing by the ocean and taking every thing in. I love to follow the waves from when the form far out in the blue-green water, to the beautiful site of their end as the foaming, white crest crashes over the rocks and onto the land. Standing there, I take a deep breath and take in the smell of the ocean water mist in the air and the smell of rich pine through the wind as it gently passes through the evergreen trees causing them to swing in their own natural ways. This is one of my favorite smells not only for its make-up, but also for its reminder of my location, which is my favorite place.
