Character:

Mario: An intelligent young man whose downfall is not taking a not for an answer.

Robert: Is a Mario's friend. He is a quiet type of person who follows Mario because he is popular.

Susan: Is a beautiful young lady who has been victimized by her ex-husband.

(The scene takes place in Manhattan, Mario invites Robert to go to a party in the East Village)

Mario: Hey Robert look at that girl, she looks like a Model (he say without taking his eyes of her) I wonder if she is alone (he says in a pensive voice more to himself than to Robert). Even if she is with someone, I will find a way to talk to her even if just to get her phone number.

Robert: (conformism) I know man. (he replies also staring at the young lady) I don't know what it is you do, but you always get lucky with women (then almost in a sight he says). That girl sure looks amazing.

Mario: OK man she is going to be mine. (He says laying claim on the young lady.)

(As they sipped their drinks and enjoyed the music, time went by but Mario kept an eye on his pray).

Mario: Let me go talk to her. (He says in an assertive tone) I'll see you later or if everything goes my way tomorrow (he winks)

Robert: Okay man I'll see you around. Good Luck! Never-mind, you do not need luck. (Laughs) You always get what you want anyway.

Mario: (in a cocky voice). That's right Robert. Are you jealous?

Robert: No, I am simply stating a fact that you are lucky with women. That's all.

Mario: OK man. I'll see you.

(With desire and firmness' Mario approach Susan and introduced himself).

Mario: Hi! How are you! (Looking at her seductively)

Susan: I'm doing fine. How are you!

Mario: I'm fine. Even better now that I have found a rose in the middle of this desert.

Susan: (smiles) thank you.

Mario: What is you name?

Susan: My name is Susan and what is your name?

Mario: My name is Mario. Nice to meet you!

Susan: Nice meeting you, too.

Mario: So are you having fun?

Susan: Yes, it's a nice party what about you?

Mario: I am having a nice time. (Looking into her eyes) Especially now that I met you, that is.

Susan: Thanks for the compliment I bet you say that to all the girls.

Mario: No at all girls (he leers at her) Let me tell you something little darling that is a nice dressed your wearing. It fit perfectly on you and your smile is slaving my heart!

Susan: (she replies with skepticism) Thanks you anyways. It's so nice of you.

Mario: So. What do you do?

Susan: Well, I recently came back to school to finish my degree which I had postponed because of my ex-husband. But I am back on the right path now.

Mario: That's good to hear!

Susan: What do you do on your spare time when you're not haunting for women?

Mario: Ha, Ha...I don't hunt women. I think you look amazing and you and I have some chemistry together. That is the reason why I approached you. I feel attracted that's all.

Susan: OK! Seriously; what do you do? (She says in exasperated voice)

Mario: Well I have my own company. I import products from South America specially the Andes Countries.

Susan: That's nice. Are you married?

Mario: No. I live with my mother

Susan: (with admiration) With Your Mother! How are older are you?

Mario: I am twenty-eight years old but let me explain you.

Susan: OK.

Mario: Since, my father died two years ago. My mother is having some difficulties. She was diagnosed with Parkinson disease.

Susan: I'm so sorry.

Mario: Thank you. She is 57 years old and I am the only single sibling in my family I decided to taking care my mother myself.
