The year is 1962; father and son business H & H hardware buys a one-room store, though its nothing big their dream has come true. The Year 1992 H & H hardware moves into a much larger store and business has never been better. The year is 2003 business is at an all time high. The year is 2005, after 43 years of business H & H hardware closes; owner john hunter comments that there was just not enough business. Most of you are probably wondering what could have happened between 2003 and 2005 to cause such a substantial business loss. The answer is simple in 2004 wal mart places another branch of their empire in their town. All hope of small business success is lost. What does wal-mart have to say about this? And I quote "loss of small business is sometimes necessary for the gain of our own." Well does that sound like the friendly neighborhood wal mart we hear about in the commercials? The truth is wal-mart is not friendly; all they are is ruthless businessmen who could care less about the community and care less about their employees as long as their pockets are fat. This is why wal-mart is a scratch that needs to be itvhed in my life and in the world. If it were up to me, wal-mart would be scratched clean off this planet. why? A

fter wal-mart has closed your family business and put you out of work what do they expect you do? Go turn in a job application just like the million others who are in the same situation as you are. And say after working at wal-mart for a couple of years you get fed up and demand a raise you can rest assured that the next day you services will be no longer needed at the wal-mart corporation. The average full time worker makes $27,203,938 a year ... LESS than wal-mart CEO lee Scott , which brings then to a measly $13,861 a year to support their family. One of wal-mart's favorite quotes is " do more for less" and in the eyes of a wal-mart employee this is more than true. Wal-mart confessed to cheating
