The Gingerbread Baby Makes A New Friend!

The Gingerbread baby ran to the edge of the river to try to get
away from the mob of people chasing him. He joyfully jumped on the
back of a depressed and dirty looking turtle but at this point he had
no other choices. The turtle had so much dirt on him the gingerbread
baby became camouflaged. As the mob of people angrily approached
the edge of the river, the gingerbread baby got so nervous that the
people would notice him. The people searched up and down the river
bank so many times in puzzlement. They were so confused and didn't
understand where the gingerbread baby could have gone. Slowly one
by one the people started leaving. As the last person walked away
from the river, the gingerbread baby jumped up and down on the
turtle's back in relief. After the gingerbread baby did this the turtle
noticed something on his back so he slowly drifted towards the river
edge to let the gingerbread baby off. The gingerbread baby thanked
the turtle for all his help. The gingerbread baby was so happy the
turtle had helped him, and the turtle was so happy that someone
stopped and talked to him. As the gingerbread baby was getting off
