The Handmaid's Tale Paper
The town of Gilead is fictional town created in the book The Handmaid's Tale. Even though Gilead is a make believe town, there are a lot of recognizable things in the town. For instance there are hints in the book that Gilead is somewhere in what used to be Massachusetts.
