1.0 BACK GROUND OF STUDY
Employees are considered to be one of the major factor that determines and organizations success and profitability, hence employee turnover is one of the major concern for ever organization. High employee turnover directly impacts a company’s revenue and reduces its profit margin, negatively impacting the companies return on investment. This research will explore how high negative employee turnover can wear down a company’s profitability.
2.0 PURPOSE OF THE RESEARCH
Ready-made sector is labour intensive, companies often require to follow strict order shipment deadline inability of doing so concerns monitory penalty, which impacts the profitability of the organization. High turnover also deteriorates product quality which leads to loss of customer and reputation. There are secondary detriments of high employee turnover that is not expected for example running an understaffed organization, high turnover might require existing employees to take on extra work load leading to jobs stress which often lowers job satisfaction.
3.0 BENEFICIALLY OF THE RESEARCH
As employee turnover is a problem common to organization independent of their scale, the primary beneficiary of the study will be various organization active in the readymade garments sector and the secondary beneficiary of this research will be candidates willing to work on this similar topic.
4.0 PURPOSE OF THE STUDY
They main purpose of the study is to identify the factors that leads to negative employee turnover in the readymade sector and in-depth exploration of the monitory cost beard by the organization due to the issue.
5.0 RESEARCH QUESTION
What are main reason behind employee turnover in the RMG sector?
What are cost that the company bears due to high turnover?
How can negative turnover be reduced in this sector?
6.0 RESEARCH OBJECTIVES
To estimate how much of the company’s profit is lost per year
To determine other significant detriments of negative employee turnover
To establish a framework for tackling negative turnover.
7.0 LITERATURE REVIEW-Literature review will enable the researcher to make sense of the topic being researched based on previous accounts of. literature review will be conducted with the highest level of attention so that relevant context could be provided for this research and justify the research project, it will also help identify and ensure whether the exact research was carried out by other scholars or notched will ensure that the research is unconsciously transforming towards a replication study. Evaluative and expletory literature review will be conducted for this research.
8.0 PURPOSE OF LITERATURE REVIEW-literature review will assess established knowledge and understanding of the topic to make sense of how reliable and relatable the knowledge and weakness associated with the topic. Literature review will guide the research forward. By means of literature review we will identify research gap and further extend the research form where other scholars concluded and highlighted further research need. This will enable the researcher to identify, scholar who previously contributed to the topic and currently working on similar research from the same field, it will also enable the researcher to understand the depth of his knowledge and understanding regarding the topic.
9.0 IMPORTANCE OF LITERATURE REVIEW- Literature review will further enable the researcher to understand opposing regarding his hypothesis this will enable the researcher to self asses his approach from a wider prospective and provide intellectual context. The process will help the researcher to enhance his critical appraisal and information seeking ability. For this research primary secondary as well as tertiary sources of will be considered while reviewing literature. Prior starting the literature review a detailed strategy will be set to avoid hassle and waste of time as it is a laborious task and keep track of the progress. Conceptual and theatrical framework relatable to the research could be identified by the researcher through this process. Literature review will assist in configuring the methodology for the research.
