The importance of personal space
Personal space is the widely-accepted conception of defining an invisible and immediate space surrounding a person which makes one indescribably uncomfortable when violated.
Since it’s a barrier that humans extend around themselves which they like to keep others from entering, most of continuous invasion of personal space may gradually lead to certain degrees of physical and mental illness, such as the enormous increase of tension level. According to recent reports, depressed rage and lack of self-territory can undermine individual’s health.
Therefore, for the following reasons we should guard the restricted air space. First, the existence of personal space is to keep ourselves in a good mood because everyone deserves the enjoyment of their own solitude immensely without any disturbance. Extrovert one person may be, he/she is still in need of the periodic self-communion. Second, it’s a regulation which people all obey inwardly. To one’s surprise, building the wall appears in contradiction to itself, which is the portal of communication and the bridge of social networking. Third, this kind of personal areas actually indicates that all people are equal. Somehow at last,no matter of the race or religion, all the human beings can share a single rule that we are able to convey our discomfort quite well both verbally and nonverbally and that is the best advantage of it.
