  1. Considering the KEMCO’s employee preferences, the company may use combination of internal and external recruitment sources of the following:
  • Post the job internally to search for internal candidates. Recruiters will select calibers who are customer oriented and able to learn and  develop their capabilities to match KAMCO’s competitive strategy. This will increase employee morale and loyalty also it’s one of the most cost effective way in hiring.
  • Recruitment through internal employees referrals as it’s the most cost effective way in hiring.
  • Publish job advertisements on the internet which will attract more applicants in short period.
  • Use the college recruiting by sending representatives to college campuses to prescreen applicants, then create an applicant pool from potential calibers matching with job requirements.

 2. KAMECO can measure the effectiveness of its recruiting efforts through different ways including the following:

  • Effectiveness of recruiters; the number of employees hired against the actual target needed to achieve the company’s objectives.
  • Quality of hire,  and this could be evaluated by providing the management with an assessment of the quality of the newly hired employees measuring their performance and compatibility with job requirements.
  • Reviewing the turnover ratio and cost associated with replacing an employee with a new one.
  • The number of days from the vacancy being posted to the time filled.
  • In college recruitment, KEMCO can calculate the cost per hire at each college so it could determine the most productive campuses and exclude the no productive ones.
