In the Gospel of Luke chapter 1 verses 78 and 79 we read about the "dayspring from on high" that has visited us, to help us walk in The Way of Peace. The word "dayspring" combines the Greek word for dawn as the light rising in the East and the Hebrew word for branch (referring to Zech.6:12-13). In the Gospel of Luke YAHshua is pictured as the ideal MAN who shows by His own example how to live continually in the presence of and in balance and harmony with Creator and all of His Creation.
Is.54:13 "And all your children shall be taught of YAHveh; and great shall be the peace of your children."
In John 6:45 YAHshuah says, "It is written in the prophets (Is.54:13), And they shall be all taught of YAHveh. Every man therefore that listens to the Father, and learns from Him, comes to me."
This paper is for all who have American Indian heritage and practice their belief in Jesus Christ/YAHshuah HaMashiach as Creator's Son in the context of their American Indian culture. ("YAHshuah" is the Hebrew name of YAHveh's Son. YAHshuah means 'YAH is salvation' or 'YAH saves'.)
Creator's Son YAHshuah is our elder brother who exemplifies to us how to live peacefully with each other and how to be of one mind with Him and with the Father Who sent Him. Living the way He teaches is to honor all life and to lovingly take care of all creation. It makes us one. YAHshuah says, "If a man loves me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come to him and stay with him." John 14:23
In our days we are free to worship our Creator and His Son with the cultural expressions of worship He has given us. They are His good gifts to all tribes and peoples all over the earth to be used to honor Him .
